Season 1
Skunk spies Panda practicing a legendary kung fu move that freezes your opponent called the Divine Hand. Of course, Skunk uses the move to prank everyone in the valley. But the joke is on him when the Ninja Monkeys watch Skunk showing the move to Rabbit. Now Skunk and Rabbit have to freeze all the Ninja Monkeys before they can pass on the secret technique to Baboon.
In exchange for a break from Panda’s grueling training, Skunk journeys to the Hill of Moons deep in Dragon territory to retrieve some of his master’s favorite plums. Fox, Rabbit, and Tiger, worry about Skunk, and they follow. They‘re all ambushed by Baboon and his ninjas. Skunk finds that his training can come in handy after all.
Kindhearted Skunk takes in a Ninja monkey who was drummed out of Baboon’s army. But Panda (rightly) suspects that that monkey is a spy. Turning devious, Skunk helps Panda trick the monkey into believing that they are planning a massive attack. Baboon’s troops show up to fight, only to discover they’ve been had.
The Ninja Monkeys infiltrate the Valley using an ancient kung fu move that tricks the mind rendering them practically invisible. Only the empty-headed Ox can see the invaders. Skunk, with Ox’s special sight, save the day. But the next day, Skunk fills Ox’s head with how heroic he is Ox loses his ability to see the monkeys. It’s up to Skunk to return Ox’s to his No Mind state.
After a platoon of Ninja Monkey’s take over Rabbit’s warren, Skunk excitedly invites Rabbit to stay with him and Panda. But to Skunk’s disappointment, Rabbit turns out to be the worst tree guest ever. The only way to get rid of Rabbit and to save face at the same time is to rid Rabbit’s warren of the Monkeys! By himself!
Skunk is thrilled when Rabbit asks him to help dig a secret tunnel and launch a sneak attack on Dragon. But he soon finds that working for bossy Rabbit is no walk in the park. Skunk ends up doing all the digging! When the Ninja Monkeys discover the tunnel, Skunk takes charge, giving Rabbit a taste of his own bossy medicine and winning the underground battle.
After falling into enemy hands and suffering from amnesia, Pig becomes convinced that HE is a Ninja Monkey. Skunk, Rabbit, and Praying Mantis try to rescue him, only to find that Pig doesn’t want to be rescued. A good blow to Pig’s head sets things right again.
Truffles are in season, and their aroma transforms Pig into a truffle-seeking Mr. Hyde maniac. But Dragon wants the truffles for himself, in order to make a scale-soothing lotion that would set him free from his icy cave. Skunk and Rabbit attempt to protect Pig and his truffles from Dragon’s henchman, but in the end Pig has everything under control.
Wanting Skunk to quiet down so he can get some sleep, Panda trains Skunk in a completely fictitious and very silent technique of transferring your chi into a rock. But when the Ninja Monkey’s swipe the rock that Panda just transferred his chi to, Skunk and Tiger hunt the chimps down to save Panda.
Panda gathers the greatest minds in the valley at the edge of their territory to figure out what the strange looking device the Ninja Monkey’s are building, leaving Skunk, Ox and Bird feeling left out. But when the monkeys start catapulting themselves into the heart of the Valley, Skunk’s quick thinking helps turn the tide of the battle.
When Skunk accidentally breaks an ancient lantern that has hung in the Valley for hundreds of years, he blames it on the Ninja Monkeys. And he gets off scott free! But soon everyone starts blaming the Ninja Monkeys for everything! And then no one seems particularly concerned when Skunk tries to warn them of a REAL monkey invasion.
Skunk would like nothing more than to join rabbit on night patrol. And Rabbit would like nothing more than to be left alone, so he scares the daylights out of Skunk with a story about a phantom Rooster who haunts the forest. To exact revenge Skunk and Tiger make a Rooster costume and in turn scare Rabbit from his post. But now with no one on patrol, it is up to Skunk defend the valley.
Skunk has a bad case of the giggle fits, and neither Panda, Dr. Turtle, nor Frog can make them stop. Skunk has to come to grips with his problem and contain his laughter, which isn’t easy when Panda takes him on a top-secret spy mission and he comes across a poison-ivy patch full of butt-scratching Ninja Monkeys!
When a sadistic Ninja Monkey stomps on Skunk’s very special Green Tea Cake, Skunk vows badass revenge on this particular monkey. And it is up to Rabbit of all creatures to be the calm one.
Panda allows Skunk to keep a pet firefly, only if he can prove he’s responsible. He’s so responsible that Panda gives Skunk a very important assignment --to deliver a scroll to Dragon?! Enroute the Ninja Monkeys attack, forcing Skunk to choose between his responsibility and his pet firefly. He chooses his pet, which Skunk later learns was another of Panda’s tests.
Skunk somehow manages to get Rabbit’s Ninja Monkey workout dummy mask stuck to his own face. Before he can eep “no,” Skunk is swooped up into a Ninja Monkey unit and is face to face with Dragon himself.
As endurance training, Panda has Skunk place an egg between his legs and hold it there--without breaking it--until Panda returns and says it’s ok. Problem is, Panda is quietly kidnapped by the Ninja Monkeys. Skunk is determined to pass the test and hang on to the already rotten egg, which makes the rescue mission all the more difficult (and smelly!).
Skunk is horrified to discover that his bad dreams are being caused by Dragon, who has found a way to transport Ninja Monkeys into the dream realm and terrorize animals in their sleep! Now Skunk and Panda must enter the dream realm and use the ancient art of Dream Control to rid their dreams of Dragon and his minions.
When Panda tests Skunk with the “box in paw” trick (Skunk has to snatch a pebble out of Panda’s paw before he closes it), Skunk gets frustrated and storms off, almost walking into a net trap laid by Baboon and his goons. Unfortunately Fox is caught. But she doesn’t lose her cool. In facing down Baboon she teaches Skunk that patience and cunning can be more effective than speed and strength.
On a glorious snow day Skunk is given the boring job of babysitting a hibernating Turtle. But Skunk’s day is more exciting than he wished for when Baboon attempts to kidnap Turtle. (Baboon plans to turn his shell into a suit of armor.) To save the good doctor, Skunk and Rabbit take on the Ninja Monkey’s in an impromptu match of kung fu hockey, with poor Turtle as the puck.
Impressed by Dr. Turtle’s humorous bedside manner, Skunk resolves to become a comedian! His comedic styling comes in handy when he tags along with Fox and Rabbit on a special mission – the Ninja Monkeys think he’s a hoot! But when the monkeys group together to form a gigantic Ninja Monkey colossus, will jokes alone be enough to save the day?
Skunk has stolen a magic jewel from dragon, which he plans to use to help the other valley animals. But how long can he keep it a secret from Panda, especially when Dragon starts using it to wreck havoc? Before long, Skunk and Panda have to defend themselves against dojo weapons come to life. Skunk has some serious explaining to do!
Dragon gives Baboon the power to give the “Jinx’s Palm”—a one-shot deal where whoever is struck with his blow is saddled with horrible bad luck. His target: Panda. But when he strikes Skunk instead, Skunk finds a way to use his terrible luck to his advantage by wreaking havoc on the Ninja Monkeys. Baboon then tries to stop him by using the “Fortunate Palm,” a good luck remedy, in an epic clash of good and bad luck.
Skunk really wants to win at Chinese Conkers (a game where players try to smash each others walnuts, which are tied to strings), so he ventures into Dragon territory to find the hardest, most unbeatable walnut he can. Too bad scaredy-cat Tiger decides to tag along: when the Monkeys attack, Skunk has to teach him a thing or two about courage.
Rabbit leads a mission to capture some Ninja Monkeys using traps made of sticky tree sap, but Skunk and his friends can’t resist playing with the stuff. They get so sticky that they’re barely able to fight off the attacking Ninja Monkeys. Before long, both the animals and the Ninja Monkeys are stuck together in huge, dueling sap balls!
Rabbit gets fed up with Panda’s teachings, and decides to start his own kung fu school, complete with cool colored belts. This leaves Skunk in an awkward situation: does he stick with Panda, or join his friends in Rabbit’s school? His solution: secretly become a student of BOTH schools! This works out fine, until a tournament pits the best students from each school against each other, and Skunk has to fight…himself?!
