Unlike the old Lava Pond, the home of Magmon, the new Lava Pond is a powerful tool for M'arrillian™ decks that reduces the damage all of their Creatures taken in combat! If that weren't enough, its ability to shut down a random Mugic™ card in each player's hand favors the prepared player. If you use a variety of different Mugic cards and your opponent follows the rule of two, you'll have much more freedom no matter what comes up!
