World’s Fastest Train Built in China

Last weekend, the world’s fastest train was completed in China. It reached 311 miles per hour during one test, which set a Guinness World Record! The second-fastest train is also operating in China but it travels about 125 miles per hour slower.

The design of the latest record-holding train was based on ancient Chinese swords. The front is tapered to a sharp point so it can cut through the air and move faster.
