World’s Biggest Rodent Spotted in California

A capybara, the world’s biggest type of rodent, was recently spotted in California. It was a rare sighting and witnesses say the creature probably weighed between 100 and 120 pounds! This was the third capybara sighting near the town of Paso Robles in recent years. The species is native to South America and likes to eat plants that grow near water. Capybaras love to swim and can stay underwater for up to five minutes!
