The annual Perseid Meteor Shower is currently happening and will be most active on Saturday, August 13. This is one of the most popular meteor showers because it can light up the sky with many shooting stars at once!
It is possible to see shooting stars all this week. They are most likely to be visible right before the light of dawn breaks. Although the most shooting stars will be happening on Saturday, it might be hard to see them because the moon will be full. If the sky is too bright, the streaking stars are harder to spot.
Have you ever seen a shooting star?
