A British man named Ed Stafford just became the first person to ever walk the entire length of the Amazon River. Amazingly, he completed 4,000 miles on foot! It took him over two years to finish the journey. He began walking at the start of the river, high in the mountains of Peru, and finished his trip in Brazil. Along the way, he saw poisonous snakes, electric eels and piranhas. Yikes!

What do you think about this adventure?

That's really cool. I wouldn't have been able to do it just because of the snakes, eels, and piranhas!
