Man Sets New ‘Space Invaders’ Record

A man named Richie Knucklez just set a new video game word record by scoring the highest recorded points in “Space Invaders.” Knucklez earned 110,510 points while playing the classic arcade game, which is more than double the last “Space Invaders” record.

This record-setting game took place on October 7th and Knucklez plans to play the game again for a crowd next month at the Twin Galaxies Videogame Festival. Knucklez, who owns his own arcade in New Jersey, says he learned some great “Space Invaders” tips from the last man who held the world record.
