LEGO Figures Flying on NASA Spacecraft

Three special LEGO figures are now flying aboard NASA’s Juno spacecraft. This spacecraft is traveling to Jupiter to collect data on the giant planet. Scientists hope to learn about the creation of Jupiter and the toys are a fun way to raise awareness about the project.

The LEGO figures were specially created for space travel and are made of aluminum. They are shaped in the images of the Roman god Jupiter, his wife Juno and scientist Galileo Galilei. The one of Galileo is holding a little telescope.
