Kids Set Kite-Flying World Record

More than 15,000 children gathered in the Gaza Strip last week in order to set a new world record. They all went to a beach and lined up along a 1.2-mile stretch of sand. Then, they were each given a kite to fly. The sky was filled with a huge variety of kites with different colors and designs! This event set a new Guinness World Record for the most kites flown at one time.
