Giant Lobster on Display in Coney Island

A huge lobster is currently drawing a crowd in New York’s Coney Island. The lobster weighs 18 pounds and is probably at least 75 years old! It was originally caught off the coast of Canada and sent to a seafood company.

The lobster would have ended up on someone’s dinner plate if it hadn’t been so unusually large. The people who were going to sell the lobster realized that it would be too big to cook in anyone’s pot!

This giant lobster can now be seen swimming in Coney Island’s New York Aquarium. What do you think they should name it?
