Christmas Lights World Record Broken

Australian couple David and Janean Richards recently broke the world record for the most Christmas lights on a residential property. This holiday season, they have a total of 331,038 lights on display at their house! This includes 97,211 feet of LED strings, 15,000 cable ties to hold everything together and a 59-foot lighted tree.

This amazing Christmas light display took four years of planning and collecting. David Richards said he originally started a large display to entertain his children but it just kept growing each year. Now the Richards family’s Christmas lights attract a big crowd and any donations given to the family are passed along to a charity organization!
