Bear Saved From Jar Stuck on Head

A black bear was recently spotted around Newport, Tennessee with a plastic jar stuck on its head! It took three weeks for wildlife officials to find and capture the animal. Amazingly, it survived without any serious injuries but the bear did weigh much less than expected.

Dozens of people witnessed the bear being freed from the jar. Experts think the bear was probably digging in some garbage when its head became stuck. The animal was later released into the Cherokee National Forest.
